Globally the most exciting agency clients are increasingly choosing to work with small teams or individual creatives. They are attracted by the speed, multicultural insights and new ways of working only small and nimble can deliver. This fragmentation leaves some large lumbering traditional agencies behind while others embrace the opportunity to work with independents.
Yet we still work in a society that assumes monoculture, tailored to either large corporations or their employees.
How do we as independent designers create our own best future? It’s our life, our careers. We are, actually, in control.
